WRDA on the move

Both chambers of Congress have taken action on bills as part of their commitment to maintaining a regular cycle on WRDA. On May 6, 2020, the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee passed America's Water Infrastructure Act of 2020 (S.3591). The bill awaits consideration by the Full Senate. On July 15, 2020, the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee passed the Water Resources Water Development Act of 2020 (H.R.7575). The bill is pending for House Floor action, which could occur as early as next week.
