NWSA submits comments on WRDA implementation guidance

NWSA continues to urge the Corps of Engineers to directly engage the water supply provider community in any discussions or deliberations on water supply storage at Corps reservoirs. Pursuant to Corps-led stakeholder sessions on implementation of provisions in the Water Resources Development Act of 2020, NWSA submitted a comment letter expressing the need for more specific involvement of water resources stakeholders as the Corps implements the various provision in the Act. Of specific interest to NWSA is a provision for the Corps to study the "benefits and consequences of including water supply and conservation as a primary mission of the Army Corps of Engineers."
