Get on (the) Board!

Three seats on the NWSA Board of Directors will be up for election at the NWSA Annual Meeting in October. The term of each seat is three years. The qualifications for a Director are dictated in the NWSA bylaws, Article III, section 3, Qualifications, which states: "All Directors must be representatives of Class A members of NWSA that are not exempt from paying dues. Directorships shall not be denied to any person on the basis of race, creed, sex, religion, or national origin. Employees of NWSA are ineligible to serve as Directors."

Serving on the Board of Directors is a rewarding way to help lead NWSA's efforts in shaping water supply policy and for "Advancing the Interests of Water Supply Providers". The commitment for serving on the Board is small but important; Board members convene on a conference call once a month for policy and process discussions and generally oversee the management of the organization.

If you have an interest in standing as a candidate for an NWSA Board seat or have any questions about the position, please contact Dave Mitamura, davem@nationalwatersupply.org or Katherine Zitsch, KZitsch@atlantaregional.org
